Maryann (McEvoy) Vizioli, Merritt Island, was born in White Plains, NY on April 19, 1944.
She attended Secretarial School in White Plains, NY, then worked in NYC until her marriage to Roger Vizioli, Jan 18, 1964. As newly weds, they moved to New Mexico for two and a half years, then to Merritt Island, Florida for 8 years, followed by a move to the Middle East for two years. They returned to their home on Merritt Island in 1977, and have resided on Merritt Island since that time.
Maryann was predeceased by her father, Lt. James R. McEvoy, US Army Air Forces pilot, who was killed in action over Germany in February 1944. Maryann's mother, Hazel M. (Cantwell) McEvoy, passed away in 1996. Maryann is survived by her husband of 49 years, Roger Vizioli; and her daughter, Christine Vizioli (47).
Maryann loved to read, knit and care for her pet dogs and cats. She enjoyed our weekly night out for dinner with special friends and was well on her way to be able to say she had eaten in every restaurant in Brevard County and the surrounding areas. Maryann thoroughly enjoyed family trips through Europe, the Middle East and Scandinavia before her failing health prevented further travel.
Calling hours will be Sunday, May 5, 2013, from 6 to 8 PM at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Monday, May 6, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Cocoa.
In lieu of flowers, Roger and Christine sincerely request donations be made to the Vitas Hospice Organization, in Maryann's memory.
