Joseph Calvin Williams, 65, of Palm Bay, died Sunday, December 9, 2012. He was born to the late Joseph and Margie Williams, June 7, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA.
He graduated from Collinwood High School in Cleveland, OH in 1965, attended Brevard Community College and continued to the University of Central Florida.
Joseph served in The US Navy Submarine Division with loyalty, dedication, and love. He traveled the world and retired from the Navy in 1974 with honors after 20 plus years. He was then a Communication Specialist for the Department of Forestry. In 2006, he started at Rockwell Collins as a Test Technician and retried in August 2012.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 45 years, Darlene; two loving and devoted sons, Joseph III and Kenneth; the sunshine of his eyes, granddaughters, Laura Lee and Natalia Marie; daughter-in-law, Kimberly; sister, Cheryl Goggans of Cleveland, OH; brother, Leonard Williams of Springfield, VA; and Aunt Sarah Owens of Cleveland, OH; two sisters-in-law, Sara and Paulette of Cleveland, OH; nieces, nephews and a host of other relations and friends. His family will cherish his memories, his beautiful smile and spirit.
The visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2012, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Beach Funeral Home, 4999 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL. Services will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Suntree United Methodist Church, 7400 N. Wickham Road at 10 am.
