Robert Soles, 83, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by Geraldine, his devoted wife of 62 years, their children Gary (Mary Lin), Marc (Therese), Jeff (Joni), and Todd (Michelle), and was preceded in death by their daughter Colleen. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Bob proudly served his country in the Navy as a firefighter until 1950. He volunteered at VA hospitals in both Florida and Michigan where he earned status as a Gold Circle Member of the VFW for his many years of service. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and traveling with his beloved wife. He was the most outstanding husband, Dad, Papa, and friend. He will forever be remembered for his exceptional personality and wonderful sense of humor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of Robert Soles to: American Lung Association or the American Heart Association would be appreciated. Condolences can be shared at www.davisseawinds.com.

"BOB SOLES" never refused my requests to drive. Less than a year ago he was still driving his fellow veterans to an from the clinic. I always called him "handsome young man" because he was just that. His spirit was always awesome and I loved hearing about the different stories regarding his children (btw - He was so proud). Love and miss you already...Your boss at the Viera VA - Karen
