Bradford Soergel Satellite Beach Brad is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Diane of Satellite Beach, FL, his sons Robert of Melbourne, FL, Anders of Satellite Beach, FL, and Keith of Melbourne, FL.Brad was a retired manager of Bellsouth where he worked in repair and installation for 27 years.Brad is also survived by his sister Bonnie Vetti and husband Manuel of Stamford, CT., his brother Scott Soergel and wife Lori of Hilton Head, SC, mother Joan Panker of Hilton Head, SC, and sister-in-law Dana Olsen of Ft. Myers, FL Brad is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life gathering will be held for family and friends on September 30th at Pelican Beach Clubhouse between 4-7 pm.

Shope, Robert*  
Robert "Mud" Shope Palm Bay Robert "Mud" Shope of Palm Bay, FL died September 12, 2016. He was born in Richmond, VA on July 19, 1938 and moved to Palm Bay 40 years ago. He is survived by his loving mate of 30 years Gayle, daughters; Kathy, Penny, Terrie and son Robert Jr. He is also survived by his brothers Edward and George and sisters; Dorris, Barbara Ann and Theresa, 5 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He served his country in the US Army and was active in the American Legion and the Moose. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1 PM at Our Lady of Grace Church at 300 Malabar Rd.

Smith, Willie H.*  
Willie H. Smith Willie H. Smith was born on May 9, 1949 in Harnett County North Carolina. He was raised by his Grandparents Sylvester and Mable Morgan, and graduated from Phoenix High School in Hampton, Virginia. He was baptized at a very early age, and served as an usher and church school teacher while a member of Queen Street Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia.   After graduating from High School and winning several awards in Latin and German, between high  school and college, Willie went on to Hampton University,  graduating with a degree in Biology. While working part-time in Virginia, he received a fellowship from RPI (Rensselear Polytechnic Institute) in Troy, New York. He later earned a Master of Science Degree in Biology from RPI in New York. His grandparents preceded him in death. Willie leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Leatha Willis Smith of Rockledge, Florida; One son, Brian Smith of Rockledge, Florida.   The funeral for Willie Henry Smith will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016; and the wake is scheduled for Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. @ Greater Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Cocoa, Florida.
