Hein, Lester*  
Lester L. Hein Melbourne, FL Lester L. Hein of Melbourne, Florida died May 20, 2015. He was born March 8, 1929 to Ruben and Mima Hein in Culbertson, Nebraska. He married his high school sweetheart, Joanne Wright, on March 6, 1949. He was a businessman and realtor for many years in Lincoln, Nebraska but it was his passion for year-round sunshine and golf that brought him to Florida. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; his three children: Brenda Harris (Steve), Pamela Hein and Randall Hein; his five grandchildren: Nicole Moss, James Kontras II, Christina Ferraro, Megan Bernadt and Amanda Suhr; he had seven great- grandchildren: Private remembrance with the family. Send memorials to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers

Hogeland, Gary*  
Gary Hogelend Melbourne, FL Gary H. Hogeland, 75, of Melbourne peacefully passed on Monday May 18, 2015 with his family by his side. Born in Alabama, Gary came to Brevard in 1956   from Chattanooga, TN.  He was an active member of First Baptist Church of South Brevard, a veteran of the US Navy, US Coast Guard Reserve and Retired Brevard County Sheriff's Office. He is survived by the family he loved; his wife of 39 years Kathryn, daughters Becky (Jeremy) Spradlin, Tracy Hogeland, Kelly (Steve) Creagan, and Melanie England, grandchildren Jake, Katie, Mason and Emily. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday May 23rd at 3pm at the First Baptist Church of South Brevard. Donations in his memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of South Brevard or the William Childs Hospice House.

Hume, Florence Bensen (Sug)*  
Forence Bensen Hume Palm Bay, FL Florence (Sug) Bensen Hume passed away May 23, 2015, after an extended illness, at Glenbrooke of Palm Bay.  Florence was born December 31, 1925 in Grant, Florida to the late Adolph Bensen and Lillie Christensen Bensen.  She was a graduate of Melbourne High School Class of 1944.  Florence had a passion for music and played with the AARP Happy Wanderers, the Sunday School and the coffee hour at Roseland United Methodist Church, and sing-a-longs at Glenbrooke.  She was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 204 and a volunteer at the Grant Historical House.    She is survived by her children, Robert Jr. (Lucia), Patricia (Sam), Janet (Don), William (Jill); grandchildren Kenneth, Alice, Christopher, Geni and Cody; brother Ed Bensen; several great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.  Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, her sisters, Mabel, Clara, Merida and Bernice and brothers, Louis, Carl, and Larry. A memorial service will be on Thursday, May 28th at 3PM at The Roseland United Methodist Church. Following the service, a memorial social will be held at the Grant Community Center, 1st Street, Grant, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to VITAS Hospice, or The Grant Historical Society, or the charity of your choice.
