Hewitt, Mary*  
Mary Branch Hewitt Melbourne, FL Mary Branch Hewitt passed from this life on May 16, 2015 she was 75 years old.  She was born in Greenwood, Mississippi in 1939 where she grew up. She moved to Melbourne in 1958 where she met and married Russell Hewitt. They bought a home in West Melbourne in 1962 where Mary resided until her death.  Mary became interested in education and received a Masters degree from Rollins College and then embarked on a 33 year career of teaching first at Harbor City Elementary then University Park Elementary which is where she was teaching when she retired. After her retirement she became involved in several citizen committees at the City of West Melbourne and also researched and wrote articles about local history and local citizens which were published in the City of West Melbourne newsletter.  She is survived by her two children, Shari Hewitt Whitman and Russell (Rusty) B Hewitt; granddaughter Audra Hewitt Adams, two great grandchildren Tyson and Aliva Adams, two sons in law Robert (Bob) Whitman and Jason Adams; a sister Lucy Branch Hodges and a brother Charles "Bo" Branch. She requested no funeral upon her passing, she will be cremated and buried alongside her husband of 51 years in the Melbourne Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, you can make a donation to the City of West Melbourne Parks and Recreation department which will be used to erect a garden bench memorial in her honor in the new Field of Dreams special needs park being built. There will be a guest book page available in a couple of days through the Brownlie-Maxwell funeral home website which we encourage you to visit and sign.

Shiu Ming Hung Palm Bay Shiu Ming Hung age 63 died May 6, 2015 in Palm Bay, Florida after a brief but very brave battle with cancer. James E. O'Donnell Cape Canaveral James E. O'Donnell,66,of Cape Canaveral passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his home. He moved to Florida in 1980 from Massachusetts. Oberholtzer, Russell*  
Russell E. Oberholtzer West Melbourne Russell (Rusty/Obe) E. Oberholtzer died peacefully on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 at the age of 85. He is survived by his daughter Judy Hebble and son-in-law Rich Hebble, of Northfield, Massachusetts; his son Russell Oberholtzer, of Melbourne, Florida; his four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was born on July 8th, 1929 in Endicott, New York. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a lieutenant for the Canal Zone Police in Panama, Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks, and an avid ham radio operator. A private family memorial and burial will be held in New Jersey. Arrangments entrusted to Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home.

Storms, Elting*  
Elting L. Storms West Melbourne, FL Elting Storms passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 17, 2015. He was born in Yonkers, New York on May 15, 1927. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. After marrying his wife Julia, he moved to Miami, Florida in 1950 to earn his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and continued on to receive his law degree. He relocated to Melbourne in 1958 to began his successful law practice. During his distinguished career in his private law practice, he served as the Melbourne City Attorney, served on the Board of Health First Hospital and finally retired as the in-house counsel for the Hospital. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, traveling with friends, golfing and spending his summers in Highlands, NC. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Highlands Country Club and the Eau Gallie Yacht Club. Elting is survived by his son Kevin Storms, his daughter-in-law Kathy, his son Keith Storms and his six grandchildren, Lauren, Garrett, Marissa, Meredith, Trevor and Kendall. He was predeceased by his wife Julia. Visitation is planned for Friday, May 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church on Saturday, May 23 at 9 a.m, with a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or The Health First Foundation.
