Cecile M. Poisson


Cecile M. Poisson, 96, passed away on February 21, 2013 after short illness at her daughter's home. She was born to Cecile Rheault on January 20, 1917 in Berlin, NH.

Cecile and her deceased husband J. Paul relocated to Florida in 1979. Prior to moving to Florida, she worked by Paul's side for 45 years with their Heating and Oil Business and owned the first Kentucky Fried Chicken in Berlin, NH. Cecile was also the Church Organist for 35 years at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Berlin. She enjoyed being with people and always had a big smile for everyone. She was loved by everyone.

Cecile is predeceased by her husband, J. Paul Poisson; and a son, Paul W Poisson. She is survived by her daughter, Susan G Pouliot and her husband Paul Pouliot; five grandchildren, Gail S. Alli and her husband Sergio from Greenback TN, Daniel Pouliot from Merritt Island, FL, Michelle Korsak and her husband Jim from Merrimack NH, Jeanne Pierce from Manchester, TN, and Edmon Poisson from Berlin NH. She had six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Cecile was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and a member of the Women's Club.

Arrangements are being handled by North Brevard Funeral Home. Visiting hours are scheduled for Sunday, February 24th from 2-4 pm and the funeral will be held at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mims, Florida at 10 am on Monday, February 25th. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Hospice of St. Francis Grumman Place in Titusville in Cecile's memory our to Holy Spirit Church, Mims, Florida, towards the Sanctuary Fund.
