Freda passed to the Lord peacefully, Sunday morning, April 14, 2013. Freda was born in Nelson, England on October 6, 1926.

She met her husband, Robert "Bob" White, in London during WWII, when he was serving in the Army Air Corps. They were married for 52 years until his death, in 1999.

Freda was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church of Merritt Island. She was an avid gardener and quilter and had a passion for all types of sewing.

She is survived by their children, Peggy Hurlbert, Terry White (Patricia), Lorraine Taylor (Paul), David White, Larry White (Dee), and Donna Gordon; 34 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Eastaff of Australia; brother, David Hooper of Ireland; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A special "thank you", to the ladies at Trinity House of Merritt Island, for the loving care and friendship they gave her over the years she spent with them.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, or the , Central and North Florida Chapter.
