Jacqueline Sappia (Wood), 84, of Titusville, FL formerly of Alpine, NJ, passed away at home on January 29, 2014. She was born and raised in New York City, Bernardsville, NJ, and Palm Beach, FL. Jacqueline is predeceased by her parents Phyllis Hyams and Charles M. Wood. She was a graduate of Stoneleigh Burham Prep and Stetson University in Deland, FL where she was an art and liberal arts major, was lettered on the tennis team, and active in The Little Theatre. A member of Alpha Xi Delta, Phi Betta Kappa, and a member of the DNR Society. Owner of a boutique, Fiorentina Shoes on Madison Ave., NYC, NY. She was a member of La Cita Country Club and chaired the Recreation Committee. She will always be remembered for her vibrant personality and her incredible style, flair for fashion and her love of travel. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. Beloved wife of Alfred E. Sappia. Survived by her children and their spouses; Cherie and Leonard Maltin, Dean and Christine Sappia, and Lisa Sappia. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lauren, Ryan, Willam, Tazio, and Dino and sister-in-law Silvia Sappia.
