John L. Puchalski left this world late in the evening on November 13, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Juliette Puchalski; son, Ray Puchalski and daughter-in-law, Lisa Puchalski; grandchildren, Grace and Delson Puchalski. Preceded in death by his beloved son, Joe Mark Puchalski; grandchildren, Ariana and Matthew John Puchalski. John was one of ten children, four of which are still living.
John retired in 1983 as a Chief Master Sargent from the US Air Force, after 30 years of distinguished service serving our country stateside and overseas. He met and married his wonderful bride of 53 years, Juliette, while stationed in Etain, France. After retiring from the Air Force, he was a postal carrier for many years.
John was a kind man who loved his family and his grandchildren above everything else. He was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan, an avid golfer, who had a few holes-in-one, loved tennis, bowling, and card playing.
He will be missed beyond measure by his family and friends. He is in a better place now with his son, Joe, and is watching over his family. We know this as we saw a huge rainbow over his home on the morning of his passing.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 15, 2012, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home.
