Lewis Arlington Weeks, 83, of Hummelstown, PA, passed away July 28, 2013. Born February 26, 1930 in Indpendence, MO, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Hust) Weeks. He was raised in West Plains, MO, along with ten brothers and sisters.

Mr. Weeks served in the U.S. Navy, married Leonette Daigle and briefly lived in New London, CT. He and his wife were long time residents of Chillicothe, IL area, where they raised their family. Lou was employed by Caterpillar Construction Inc., in Mossville, IL, completing a 38 year career as a general accounting manager at age 55. He and his wife retired to Melbourne, FL area and as a certified arborist, owned/operated Weeks Landscaping, working with several corporations and local businesses in the region.

Lou found great pleasure in following St. Louis, Cardinals baseball, stats on college football and professional golf. He was an avid golfer who loved reading and learning about history, following the stock exchange and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Leonette (Daigle) Weeks; sons, Lewis A. Weeks, Jr., of Bloomington, IL, Leslie A. Weeks of Tulsa, OK and Lt. Col. Loren A. Weeks of Paso Robles, CA; daughter, Lynn A. (Weeks) Dell, wife of Dave, of Harrisburg, PA; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Lou was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters; and a grandson, Matthew Weeks from Tulsa, OK.

Cremation and private burial of ashes will be held at a later date in Rocky Hill, Conn.
