Richard W. Turnbow, 80, of Melbourne joined his wife in Heaven on Saturday October 5, 2013 after a long, courageous fight with cancer.

He moved here in 1959 from Los Angeles, CA and retired as a Geographical Engineer for JFK LLC in Indialantic. He was a Baptist, a veteran of the USAF, enjoyed bowling, fishing and golf. He also volunteered at HRMC, Eau Gallie High School Athletics and the Brevard County voting stations.

Survivors include his daughters Terri (Ken) Hall, Tracey (Robert) Haines, and Kim Davis, son Richard (Rachelle) Turnbow, and Gene Rimes, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren brother Deryle Turnbow, many nieces and nephews and faithful dog Pepper Jack.

Calling hours will be Thursday October 10th from 5pm-7pm at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be Friday October 11th at 11am in the Funeral Home Chapel.
