Thomas A. Feaster


On Sunday, May 12, 2013, Tom left this life for his mansion as promised by Jesus in John 14: 1-4. Tom was born on August 8, 1931, in San Pedro, California to Thomas Albert and Irene Stank Feaster.

Tom moved to Jacksonville, Florida when he was 10 years old to live with his aunt. Tom completed high school before going into the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. After an honorable discharge, Tom enrolled in the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree and became a life-long, die-hard Gator. After graduation Tom spent the next 34 years working in the Aerospace Industry, the first several years with aerospace companies in California and Florida and the last 29 years with NASA at the Kennedy Space Center, taking short term assignments in Houston, TX and Washington, D.C. Tom was very proud to have worked with so many smart, dedicated, and courageous people who oftentimes were doing things for the very first time.

Tom was an active member of the First Christian Church in Titusville, serving as an elder, teacher and in other leadership positions over the years.

Tom is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Barbara of 61 years. They met at church and dated through high school. Tom also leaves behind two wonderful children, Kathy Clinton (Richard) and Steve Feaster (Melissa); and four beautiful grandchildren, Tristan and Logan Clinton, Samantha and Rebekah Feaster.

A Praise of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013, at the First Christian Church at 2880 W. Jay Jay Road, Titusville, FL at 3:00 pm with a meal to follow.
