Vincent, loving husband, father and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2013. He was born on June 2, 1929, in Everett, Mass. where he attended city schools. Vincent graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a BS in Industrial Engineering during the Korean War. He then received a direct commission as 2nd Lt. in the Air Force and was assigned to Shaw AFB, SC. He served as a navigator on the B-25 Mitchell. Vincent also served in the Air Force Reserves for eight years and at the time of his discharge he had reached the rank of Captain. After his time in the Air Force, Vincent worked for Douglas Aircraft in Charlotte, NC. When the Apollo Space Program was beginning, he went to work for McDonnell Douglas and moved his family to Titusville where he continued to work at the Space Center on the Space Shuttle Program. He retired from Johnson Controls at the age of 76.

Vincent was a professional musician who played clarinet with the Brevard Community Orchestra and the Park Ave. Baptist Church Orchestra. He passed on his love of music to his children.

Vincent was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia Ardis in 1970. He leaves behind his loving second wife of 39 years, Bertha Glisson Strianese. He was a loving father to his children Debbie Schmidt (Dale), Linda Wood (Mike), Robert Vincent (Angela), Christie Boyer (Scott). Vincent was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The dignified example of his character shall endure in those blessed to have called him family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sun., Oct. 6 at 3:00pm at Park Ave. Baptist Church, 2600 Park Ave., Titusville, FL
