JOHN RENSING Obituary
He is survived by his three sons and their spouses, John Peter and Phyllis, Bruce and Edward Wald and Amy. Loving Grandfather of Emil, Christopher, Jacqueline, Melissa, Ian, Amanda, Jonelle, Daniel, Jill and Travis. Great Grandfather to Ella and Maya Filosa, Silas Scauzillo and Madison Garofalo. He was preceded in death by his wives, Josephine A. Rensing and Lillian Sommer Rensing, and his son, Emil Charles.
John A. Rensing served in the United States Army, during World War II, in General George Pattons Army. He drove a Half- track and worked in Pat tons personal office. Upon returning home, in 1946, he became a musician and performer at the Chez Mimi in Lindenhurst, Long Island. His singing and guitar playing has always been a special part of him that brought many good memories and much enjoyment that will always be remembered.
John A. Rensing was the founder of Renco Electronics, Inc. He started the company in 1955, with his wife Josephine, in Hicksville, New York, with a loan from his mother-in-law of $2,000. In 1981 the company expanded to a new facility in Deer Park, New York. September 1998 relocated to Rockledge, Florida where, after 56 years in business, is thriving and now expanding to Hong Kong. As an ac complished singer and guitar player, Johns club dates and weddings kept Renco and our family subsidized in the early years when Renco didnt generate enough money to support itself. Johns dedication and love for Renco Electronics set the foundation for a great company that takes care of so many workers and their families.
As a devote Christian Scientist since 1966, we are proud to say he had not needed nor seen a doctor since 1944 when he was honorably discharged from WWII. He was an active member and First Reader of First Church of Christ Scientist, Massapequa, NY, Delray Beach, FL and Cocoa, FL.
John A. Rensing was an honorable, generous, and compassionate family man and loving husband who will be greatly missed by his family, friends, Renco Electronics and the community.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2011, in the chapel at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Please sign the guest book at www.floridamemorialfh-gardens.com.

To the Resning Family. I was very happy to meet Mr. Rensing and to have known him fir the last 11 1/2 years of my life has been an honor, with a man in such high standings always open arms and wasn't afraid to speak his mind. Mr. Rensing rest in peace and I will always miss our talks in the hallways and you giving me that speacial hug on your visits to Renco. Love you always!!!

I was honored to have a chance to meet and know John Rensing, your dad and grandfather. He made me smile. He was such a dignified, proud, and kind man. I will cherish the happy thoughts of seeing him and Jean at the Health Club working out.....

To the Rensing Family: I consider myself very lucky because of knowing Mr. Rensing, to me he always showed a great deal of caring. He visited the factory floor and always held his arms out wide so he could give me a big hug, which was wonderful because I could give him a big hug also.He will always have a very special place in my heart. We are so sorry for your loss and, even though we cannot be there in Florida for you, we are there in heart and spirit. John was definitely an incredible man and one of the most generous, kind and loving people we have ever met. It was such a joy and an honor to have known John all these years and, whenever we come to visit, we will sorely miss his gentle presence and beautiful, easy smile. John was the epitomy of what a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and in-law should be. We will miss his eloquence, his wit, his warmth and his charm. Our prayers and love are with you all. These photos are such wonderful memories for us all.

Wow I just looked at all of the photos. It was great viewing them. Just beautiful. Love all the pictures. He certainly lived life to the fullest and was a success. I'm sure he is proud of all of his family today. Rest in peace.

I have had the great pleasure and honor of meeting, spending time, and getting to know Mr. John A. Rensing and his amazing loving family. During this time, I have experienced him to be a generous, warm hearted and kind family man. He is an inspiration.
