Oh Aunt Ilma, I miss you so! I loved your contagious laugh, our long talks, your wonderful stories especially about my mother and our family. You and I had a very special friendship which I will cherish forever. I'm sad for me, but happy that you are now reunited with Uncle Al, my grandfather, Claude (oh how I miss him too!), all your other siblings and your parents. I know how you missed them so. You were such a unique, wonderful person and you are an inspiration to me! I love you!!

I feel a lot of sorrow for Aunt Ilma's passing, because it is the end of a past I cherished. Growing up and going to Grandma's house in Newark. having all the aunts and uncles and cousins around were wonderful times and so long ago. Now we all have gone our separate ways and have our own families. May we share with our children those good times we had so many years ago. Aunt Ilma, rest in peace.

"This is Ilma, sorry I missed your call. Please leave a message..."
Hi Aunt Ilma, this is Thea. I'm focusing on all the good memories, good visits, good laughs, and good family stories we enjoyed so much and I'll continue to enjoy sharing with everyone interested, reminding them always we have you to thank for so many of them. I am happy for you to be reunited with your mom and dad and brothers and sisters who you missed so much. We never used to say good-bye, just see ya later. See ya later, Aunt Ilma. Say "Hey!" to dad for me.

Dear Aunt Ilma, rest in peace,i'll forever miss you. Thankfully i have many memories that i'll never forget...
~all the visits to her greenhouse, helpingwater the plants and feeding the cats.
~All the sunday dinners at my house, and Ilma reminding Iona to make extra "mac's" because Al always went back for a 2nd helping.
~How for 10yrs they gave me the same Xmas present..A subscription to National Geographic which i looked forward to every month and still read.
~All the time spent with me showing me how to take care of my tomato plants.(which i still can't do taht well)
~Telling me how she use to hate red lights, but as she got older she tried
to catch every one of them so she could "rest".
~ Laughing about the fact that we couldn't understand how I became older then she was..
Thank you Aunt Ilma for all the memories you filled me with..I'll never forget you and always love you..
