Ada Parrish Obituary

Ada L. Parrish, 82, passed away on June 4, 2011. Born Ada Edmiston in Crab Orchard, KY, she moved to Brevard County following her graduation from Centre College to pursue a teaching career.

During her life in Brevard County, she developed a passion for the local community that matched her passion for family and friends.

Ada was a long time member of the Florida Historical Society, Florida Historical Commission, Daughters of the American Revolution, Brevard Heritage Council, and the Rockledge Presbyterian Church.

She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her especially her close family which included 5 sisters, Sarah, Mary, Wilma, Laura, and Jan, and friends. She is survived by her husband, Henry Parrish, of 59 years; their four children, Sarah (Richard), Grace (James), Susan (Dean), and Henry; and 6 grandchildren.
