GOD’S GENERAL: BISHOP MALCOLM LINKOUS

The General has fallen
In the Kingdom of Light
His life was a beacon
He led in the fight
With Spirit in hand

His name Bishop Linkous
His life was appointed
His message was timeless
His words were anointed
Determined to stand

Strongholds torn down
Evil was abated
The lost were found
Heaven’s elated
A warrior firsthand

One last thought
To all we remember
Is the loved ones he brought
To salvations safe harbor
In God’s right-hand

He’s been promoted
He has a white gown
His accomplishments noted
He received his crown
At Jesus’ own hand
