Formerly of Fort Worth, TX and Marlboro, MA, died at her home at Villa Vista in Cocoa Beach, FL on May 16, 2011.
She was born May 23, 1919 in Manchester, NH and is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, John "Dutchie" Gethin; daughter, Mary Bell of Cocoa Beach; son, John and wife, Patti, of San Diego, CA; son, Michael and wife, Betsy, of Hudson, MA; daughter, Ann (Nancy) Brooks and husband, Jim, of Arlington, TX; and son, Neil and wife, Lori, of Melbourne, FL. Sister of the late Hugh Sullivan and wife, Sally. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Mike Gethin of Quincy, MA; and sister-in-law, Mary Kelly of West Roxbury.
In addition to raising a family she worked as a RN until her retirement. She loved the beach and the many friends she had at Villa Vista.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Friday, May 20th at Our Savior Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Peg's name to Hospice of Health First, 1900 Dairy Rd., Melbourne, FL 32904.

We can't thank you all enough for sharing your beautiful mother with our family. Mrs. Gethin always welcomed us with her warm smile and unending kindness. She truly "blessed our hearts".
