DARRELL LARSEN Obituary
Darrell S. Larsen, 49, of Melbourne, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011, after a difficult hospitalization. He was the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Stanley Larsen. Born on November 14, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York.
Darrell spent his child hood in central New York and in Miller Place, Long Island. He is a graduate of Miller Place High School and attended the University of Michigan. He moved to Melbourne, Florida following his sister, Sheryl Liggett, of Merritt Island and his brother, Douglas Larsen, also of Merritt Island.He was employed by several engineering firms in the Space Coast area, the last of which was Allen Engineering of Cocoa Beach.
Darrell is survived by his mother, Eleonor, and father, Stanley, of Melbourne; his brother, Douglas and wife, Beverly, of Merritt Island, Fl. His sister, Sheryl of Merritt Island. Also his two nephews, Eric Lenhardt and wife, Cindy, of Queens, N.Y., Michael Larsen of Arlington, Tx.; and niece, Suzanne Marie Larsen, of Merritt Island. Darrell was much loved by family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rockledge Presbyterian Church, Rockledge, Fl. You may sign the guest book at www.beckmanwilliamson.com.
