Peter Burke Obituary
Peter "Pete" Burke, 68, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Holmes Regional Medical Center of C.O.P.D.
He proudly served in the Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis, after being stationed at Tacoma, Washington in 1962, he was transferred to Patrick Air Force Base, with his company Hawk Missiles. That is where he met the love of his life and soul mate of 48 years.
Pete was born in Port Monmouth, New Jersey on December 8, 1942.
He is survived by his wife, Judi; sons, Dennis and Butch; four grandchildren, Cody, Shane, Chase and Miss Kylie. Also 2 great-grandchildren, Miss Mackenzie and Tommy Boy.
There will be no service at Pete's request, but a gathering will be announced later. L.D.T.N.I.Y.A.U.T.I.

I never gott to meet Pete, but feel as though we were friends. Funny how people hundreds of miles away can connect and find friendship that can last for years.
I know he was a kind, softhearted man who loved his wife and family above all.
For the past eleven years we have communicated through phone calls and internet Judi, and I consider you closer to me than my own sister.Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I will be here for you always.

I am sorry to here of Ed's passing I know this is hard on all of you my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ed was a wonderful man with great wisdom I will truely miss him. He is in a better place with no pain now.
