Catherine Hansmeier Obituary


Catherine T. Hansmeier, 90, of Satellite Beach, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Melbourne, FL. A retired school teacher, she was born in Renovo, PA and came to Brevard County from Kissimmee, FL in 1990. She belonged to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

Catherine is survived by her son, Robert of Lihue, HI; daughter, Lausanne Walter of Kissimmee, FL; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and brother George McFadden of Palm Coast, FL.

Calling hours will be held Friday, June 3rd from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 14th in Pennsylvania.

Friends planning expressions of sympathy are asked to consider Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

I am very sad to learn that my dear friend of 20 years has passed away.My late husband, Donald and I moved to the Buccaneer in 1991 and Cathy was the first one to befriend us. She was a great lady and I will hold fond memories of her in my heart always. Nancy Dube'
