Del and the other Real Eight Co members were an inspiration to me. Reading about their adventures in National Geographic and the book, Pieces of Eight, sent me out on my own successful search for sunken treasure. What a happy reunion they must all be having in Heaven.

Del Long had spiritual insight when it came to finding Spanish treasure. Dear daughters, may you treasure his memories.

Delphine was a swashbuckler and knew my dad, Vic Dudas, very well. They worked together at Patrick AFB and shared many treasure hunting stories and fishing stories. From the time I was a kid, I will always remember him laughing and joking around. Susan Dudas Richmond.
