Russell Blue Obituary
Russell Erwin Blue, age 91, of Oviedo, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. He was born January 23, 1922 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a WWII veteran in the Army Air Corps and was a pilot for Delta Airlines for 32 years.
He is survived by his son, Dave Blue of Geneva; son, Tom Blue (Effie) of Satellite Beach; son, Greg Blue (Ludgard) of Victoria, British Columbia; son-in-law, Ron Bobbie (Frances) of Raleigh, N.C.; and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Muriel; daughter, Joann Bobbie; and daughter-in-law, Nancy Blue.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 N. Park Ave., Winter Park. Interment will follow at All Faith's Memorial park in Casselberry.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Comforter.

I flew as "stewardess" with Russ on many trips starting in 1956. He became a good friend with both my husband(also a Delta pilot deceased)and me. One great time was Thansgiving in Houston while Russ was on a layover and we were living there,the entire crew spent a most enjoyable day at our home. Russ was one all crews looked forward to flying with back in the good ole days! Pat Ritchie Nease
