Edward Ralph Christensen, 54, passed away suddenly January 16, 2013 at home. Ed is survived by his daughter, Alexandra C. Christensen; brother, John T. Christensen; mother, Margaret Inez Christensen; his life partner, Kate Kelley; and extended family, Jennifer Kelley,(Joe),Ross Chamberlain and Danielle Kelley. Ed was preceded in death by his father, Ralph T. Christensen.
Ed was born in Miami, FL in 1958. He grew up in Marathon, FL and graduated from the University of Florida School of Accounting with a Masters Degree in Accounting. Ed was a CPA and avid Gator fan. Ed was the Senior Partner of Davies, Houser & Secrest CPA firm and had joined the firm in 1982, right out of college, continuing his career until his passing.
Ed was a member of the Cocoa Beach Elks Lodge #2387. He held the title of Past District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler (PDDGER). He was the Exalted Ruler of the lodge five times. Edward was also Lodge Adviser to various lodges and Business Adviser for the Elks Southeast Central District.
His greatest joy was his family and giving back to his community. His legacy will be one of integrity, compassion and generosity. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

A PRAYER SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 11:00AM WITH AN ELK'S SERVICE TO FOLLOW ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 26, 2013 AT ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 75 BARTON AVE., ROCKLEDGE, FL 32955.
