Hardee Henderson Obituary

Hardee Steven Henderson III, 60, born July 15, 1952, passed away May 30, 2013.

He is survived by his parents, Lois and Hardee Steven "Dock" Henderson II; brother, Michael; and his three children, Brandy, Steve and James.

Hardee spent the last 35 years practicing law in Brevard County. His compassion, huge tender heart and exceptional charm were his greatest gifts; he shared them with all who came into contact with him.

Hardee also loved motorcycles, fishing, hunting and a good debate, often employing his trademark line, "The bottom line is…"

A celebration of his life will be held Friday, June 14 at 12pm, at the chapel at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's Upper School (5625 Holy Trinity Drive, Melbourne).

I just found out that Hardee is gone and words cannot express the sense of loss at his passing. He was a friend of mine and my late husband Bill in Florida. We used to run into each other whenever Billy and I were in town and I will miss Hardee's smile, spirit, warmth, and compassion. He was a good friend who will be sorely missed.

I haven't seen Hardee since 2000 and I just found out. I used to paint cars for him in the late 80's and 90's and man he was an awesome gentleman. I am truly sorry to hear and my thoughts and prayers go out to the Henderson family. He will be missed. ())>-%------

Our deepest sympathy goes out for the Henderson family. It was a very sad day when we heard of Hardee's passing. That man could light up a room just with his smile & laugh. Thank you for the trip to the Fla. keys, had the best time with you & I still have the pretty vase you gave me. You will truly be missed by us & all that knew you. God Bless you HARDEE.

Deepest sympathy to Hardee's family. No one can laugh the way that fills your heart with smiles and leave the scent of Patchouli that tells you he just left the room. Hope now your beautiful soul can R.I.P.

Hardee, you can be proud of your children one more time. They provided us with a beautiful service to celebrate your life. The bag pipes playing Amazing Grace seemed very personal and special. I know you heard your son as he shared about you and as he spoke to you. You have reminded me of how precious every moment with a loved one is. Rest in peace now, Hardee. We will all see you again.

Prayers and thoughts of you will be a part our lives always. Hardee was a wonderful man, so caring of everone and giving to all. He had a HUGE heart (never knew how it fit in his body), a smile that brightened a room, and a belly laugh that made you laugh even if nothing was funny. We have many cherished memories. Thanks for being a part of our lives. May your legacy and goodness live on for many generations. May God bless your beautiful soul and truly grant you peace as well as peace to all.

Oh Hardee, If you only knew the amount of people who have called me and emailed me with broken hearts! I can't even express how much my heart aches over missing you. You were never my boss, you were my brother! We were family from the very first day. All the wonderful funny stories, mishaps and memories of you I will always have. I hope you are happy and at peace. I love you! Bonny
