Joseph Ralph Vislay, 54, entered into rest on Friday, June 28, 2013 in Orlando, FL. Joe was born on July 13, 1958 in Key West and raised in Melbourne, where he attended Ascension Catholic and Melbourne Central Catholic.
He furthered his studies at UF, receiving a B.S. degree with honors in Building Construction. Joe became a prominent general contractor, achieving numerous industry awards. He was the Co-founder of EMJAY Constructors, Inc., Board of Directors Member of ABC Florida Gulf Coast, ABC Florida and Advisory Board Member of Everglades University. Joe worked from sun up to sun down and always appreciated precious time on his riding lawn mower.
He will be forever missed by his beloved wife of 27 years, Cynthia; daughter, Angela (Mark) Taiclet; sons, Joseph Ryan and his fiancée, Kari Poinsett and Joel R.; father, Joseph R.; mother, Lourdes and her significant other, Jim Penland; sister, Laurie (Phillip) Paul; and his aunt, Lali (Jerry) Alfonso.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne, with funeral services following at 6 p.m.
