Lloyd George Grander, 82, died Monday, November 5, 2012. A retired educator and principal from Cornwall-Lebanon Schools, he was born in Manayunk, PA to Lucy and Lloyd Grander. He moved from Lebanon, PA to Melbourne Beach in 2000.

Lloyd earned his undergraduate degree at Millersville State College and his Masters from Rutgers University. His educational career spanned 40 years and he was active in the Masons, Shriners, Gideons and Rotary International. He also helped found the Schaefferstown Ambulance and served the community as an EMT for many years.

Lloyd was preceded in death by Esther C. Grander, his wife of 56 years. He is survived by his children: Cathy (Don) Savery and Jon (Jennifer) Grander and grandchildren: Jonathan, Dustin (Jennifer), Kelsey, Keaton, Ashley, Isabella and Hunter.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 10:30 AM at The Fountains, 4451 Stack Blvd. in Melbourne.
