May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

What fun we had at the many Al-anon meetings, conventions, Christmas socials, Nags Head girl trips, etc! We could laugh, cry, and share unconditional love for one another. I am very grateful for the love and friendship I received from Paula Vernon.

I feel very honored to have had you in my life. God put you there at just the right time. What an amazing person! You are the reason that I stayed with Al-Anon after my first visit. You were so passionate about it. We had this Italian bond about the way we looked at life & I will never forget you or the words you gave me to share. One of the last times I saw you, you said that someone gave the words to you & they are meant to be shared. I will forever remember you when sharing them with others, telling them all about you & your strength so your legacy will definetly go on in Al-Anon. Although I missed you terribly, I was so happy for you to spend your last days with your family, so you could experience how much they all really loved you, & you told me about that wonderful experience more than once. Everything happens for a reason & you struggled all these years with all these illness for a great purpose, and I personally thank you for the part I received. Love, Trisha
