Obituary Condolences

Richard H. Miller "Dick" Melbourne Richard (Dick) Hutchinson Miller passed away peacefully at Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center in Rockledge on June 15, 2010 at the age of 84. He was born in Montclair, New Jersey and was a member of the class of 1947 at Princeton University. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Dick married Margaret (Peggy) Quainton in 1948 and together they had four children. He spent most of his career in up state New York and retired to Naples, Florida in 1987. His beloved Peggy died shortly thereafter. During his retirement, he spent countless hours vol unteering for the Princeton Club to ensure that deserv ing students in southern Florida would have an opportunity to attend the university that he loved so much. He married Anne Dunbar in 1991 and they moved into Bentley Village in Naples. He spent the last two years of his life in Melbourne, Florida, being cared for by his daughter, Dr. Andrea Miller and a community of their friends. He is survived by his lov ing children: Debbie, Pam, Andrea and Geoff, daugh ter-in-law Betsy Miller, son- in-law Larry Cate, as well as his 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He will be remembered always for his intelligence, integri ty, fairness and great wit. Although Dick had been active in church all his life, his relationship with God became much deeper and more personal on January 16th, 2008, when he became born again. He attended Calvary Chapel Melbourne at Viera, and was active in the mens Bible study, "Breaking Bread". There will be a celebra tion of Dicks life at 3 PM on Friday, July 30th at the Wuesthoff Hospice and Palliative Care, Large Conference Room, 8060 Spyglass Hill Rd., Viera, FL 32940.
