William "Bill" Birnbaum (1926 - 2012)

William "Bill" Birnbaum went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 5, 2012, at home with his family. Bill was from Bayside, New York, born December 11, 1926. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was a special agent with the F.B.I. for 32 years.

Bill met his wife, Lynn, at Stetson University. They were the first couple to be married in the First Baptist Church of Titusville in 1951. They celebrated their 61st anniversary on September 19, 2012. Bill was the top banana at Banana Alley Antique Shoppe for 28 years.

Bill is survived by his wife, Marilyn "Lynn" Birnbaum; two sons, Larry and Billy; and his grandchildren, David and Emily.

Services will be private. Entombment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for the loving care and support of Bill and his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist of Titusville, Vitas Hospice, or the US Space Walk of Fame Museum.

Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
