Col. William R. Pogue

William R. Pogue, 84, passed away peacefully on March 3, at his home in Cocoa Beach. Bill was a Skylab 4 Astronaut Pilot, Thunderbirds Pilot, flew combat missions in Korea and worked as a flight instructor for the Air Force. He was currently serving on the board of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.

Bill is survived by his wife, three children, five step-children, extended family and friends. He is and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held 10 A.M. Friday, March 14, at Club Zion Community Church, 830 S. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation;
