Jerry S. Miller, of Satellite Beach, of Satellite Beach, passed away unexpectedly, March 29, 2012. She was born in Manor, GA, August 16, 1934. She was raised in Brunswick, GA, where she met and married Robert W. Miller on March 15, 1952.
Robert and Jerry spent many years traveling with the Air Force settling with their three children in Satellite Beach where they lived for 43 years. Not only did she love fishing, she also loved creating beautiful ceramic pieces and teaching her art at Patrick Air Force Base Ceramic Shop. She also worked at Harris Semi-Conductor for 22 years retiring from there.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert W. Miller; son, Robert W. Miller, Jr. and wife, Janice of Brunswick, GA; daughter, Wanda Houser of Melbourne, FL; and daughter, Valerie Grove and her husband, Donnie of Satellite Beach, FL; grandchildren,
Jennie Bram and her husband, Chris of Tallahassee, FL and Lana Houser of Melbourne, FL; three great grandchildren; her brothers, Wallace Strickland and his wife, Retta of Smyrna, GA and Joe Strickland and his wife, Kathy of Brunswick, GA. She was predeceased by her brother, J. P. Strickland and his widow, Carol of Brunswick, GA, she has many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Funeral Services will follow at 11 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2012, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, 5950 South U.S. Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955 (312) 636-8943.
