Amos T. Brown, Jr., passed away on July 22, 2013. He was born on February 14, 1946 in Port Arthur, TX. He moved to Florida in May 1982 after retiring as a Captain in the US Army.

He is survived by wife, Suzanne; sons, Tres (Juliet) Brown, Jonathan (Ann) Brown and Christopher (Katie) Brown; seven grandchildren; brothers, Al (Jean) Brown and Dan (Becky) Brown; and sisters, Lavella Railey, Shirley Partlow, Opal Brown and Bobbie Miller.

He was very active in scouts, youth football and little league. From May 1982 until December 2012, he worked at KSC for Lockheed and USA. Amos had a strong faith in the love and grace of God and his personal savior Jesus Christ and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Merritt Island.

Service will by July 27th at 4:00 pm at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL. There will be a reception immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the First Baptist Church of Merritt Island.
