Billy D. Emrick

Melbourne, FL

Billy D. Emrick, 85, a retired Air Force Colonel, died November 10, 2013 in Melbourne, FL. Colonel Emrick was born in Paris, IL. He came to Brevard County in 1972 from Belleville, IL.

A pilot and veteran of the Korean and the Vietnam War, he retired from the Air Force in 1971 with 26 years' service to his country. He attended Chapel at the Indian River Colony Club. He was a member of The Military Officer's Association, the Daedalians, Canaveral Masonic Lodge #339, Cocoa York Rite Bodies, Orlando Scottish Rite, and a founding member of the AZAN Shrine Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; sons, William Emrick of Chandler, AZ and Michael Emrick of Vancouver, WA; and four grandchildren.

Services will be private.

Donations may be made to the Shrine Hospitals, AZAN Shrine Temple, 1591 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32935.

The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial is entrusted with arrangements.
