Pauline Turner Kalton

Melbourne, FL

Pauline Turner Kalton, 85, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 17, 2014. Born October 21, 1928 in Leaksville, NC, she was the daughter of Lloyd H. Turner and Thelma Martin Turner. Pauline graduated from Radford College in Radford, VA. She met her husband Andrew in Jacksonville, FL where he was stationed in the Naval Air Corps. They were married at the Greek Orthodox Church in Somerville, MA. Pauline was a full time mother and later worked as an employment manager at Rustcraft Greeting Cards in Dedham, MA.

She was a faithful member of St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church in Melbourne, FL. She loved her family, enjoying time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a happy person who doted on her Yorkshire terrier, Tootsie. Pauline is survived by her three loving daughters, Pamela (Rosario) Diecidue of Randolph, MA, Diana (James) Papageorge and Christina (Gerald) Borges, both of Melbourne, FL. She was the loving grandmother of six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pauline will forever be remembered as a sweet "southern Belle" who always went out of her way for others. Her tender heart, musical laugh, and warm hugs will be forever missed. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at St. Panteleimon Chapel, 5830 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32940. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 9:00 a.m., also at St. Panteleimon Chapel, followed by graveside entombment at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South U.S. Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. Friends and family are invited to attend a mercy meal after the graveside service that will be held at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the or St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church for the Building Fund.
