Tim L. Chasey
Tim went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2014, after a long and well fought battle with Crohn's Disease and COPD.
He was born in Kansas City, MO on March 13, 1937, and spent all of his childhood in Madison, WI. Tim attended East High School and then moved to Palmetto, FL with his parents. After serving in the United States Navy, he graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1962. He retired in 1996 from Boeing, Inc. after working at the Kennedy Space Center for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Gigi Chasey, and sons, Mark (Michelle) Chasey, Steven (Felicia) Chasey and daughter, Kathryn (Sal) DeLaNuez and six grandchildren: Madeline, Nathan and Nicholas Chasey; James, Matthew and Olivia DeLaNuez; and one brother, John H. Chasey.
Tim's greatest joys were being with his family and being a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a 4th Degree Knight. He enjoyed all sports but especially loved his golf.
Arrangements are being made by Brownlie- Maxwell Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 5PM to 8PM on Thursday, March 6, at the funeral home with the Rosary being offered at 5:00PM. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, March 7, at 10:30AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Babcock St., Palm Bay, FL. Immediately following the Mass, there will be a celebration of Life at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 6725 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay.
