Gloria Taylor Obituary
Gloria "Mimi" Taylor

Titusville, FL

Gloria "Mimi" Taylor transitioned from this life on April 28, 2014.

Gloria May Kutz was born in Reedsburg, Wisconsin on November 21, 1933. Gloria's legacy as a wife (of late Romey Taylor), mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, Christian, youth advocate, and Florida Gator are reflective of the love, commitment, dedication, and core values of her Wisconsin family. As a devoted wife, Gloria celebrated 50 years with the love of her life - Romey Albert Taylor. As a mom of three sons, Gloria dedicated herself to the family life, and will be long remembered for her unconditional love, pound cake, and red velvet recipes. As a mother-in-law, Gloria accepted three daughters with love and respect. As an active grandmother, Gloria engaged the grandchildren's events, celebrations, and sorrows. As a Christian, Gloria was as an active member in the First Christian Church family. As a youth advocate, Gloria and husband Romey - were very active in Astronaut High School Athletics, and proud of their inclusion in the naming of Storey-Taylor Stadium at Donnelly Field. As an avid Florida Gator fan, Romey and Gloria truly believed "It's great to be a Florida Gator" traveling to games and events in support of collegiate athletics.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Romey Taylor. Gloria is very proud of her three sons; Allen (Diane), Mark (Marcella), and Zane (Kimberley). Gloria is blessed with eight grandchildren; Brent, Allison (Steve), Joshua (Candace), Jennifer, Stephanie, Justin, Ryan, and Jarrett, as well as two great-grandchildren; Trinity and Maksim. Gloria's love for her extended Wisconsin family is proven with the outpouring of love over the years, and continued support since her stroke in 2012.

We give God the glory as we recognize Gloria's talented care providers; Dr. Mark Storey, Dr. Ben Storey, Parrish Medical Center's emergency and intensive care staff, Sea Pines Rehabilitation, Royal Oak Rehabilitation, Sand Pointe Assisted Living Facility, and Hospice of Saint Francis.
