Wilma Garcia, 76, of Cocoa, FL went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Wilhelmine Steinbrecher and her son Michael Adams.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gene Garcia. She leaves her two brothers Reinhold and Peter Steinbrecher, three nephews and a niece. She is also survived by her son Ron (Sandra) Adams, daughters Sylvia (Ken) Marks and Sharon (Tom) Dotson. Her family was what she cherished the most. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Wilma was born in Kaiserlautern, Germany and moved to the The United States in 1960. She was a devoted mother and wife. She worked for many years as a cook before retiring in 2004 from Brevard Achievement Center. She attended Victory Baptist Church.
Wilma enjoyed spending time with her family. She and Gene lived life to the fullest.
She never met a stranger. Those who knew her were touched by her compassion, sincerity and her warm smile. She always put her loved ones first and welcomed anyone that she met into her heart. She will be deeply missed by so many.
Viewing will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 4:00pm, with the Service following at 5:00pm at The First United Methodist Church 885 Forrest Avenue Cocoa.
