John Eric Swanson

Cocoa Beach, FL

John Eric Swanson, 58, of Cocoa Beach passed away on Tuesday May 20, 2014 in Cocoa Beach.

He retired as a Manager after more than 20 years at KSC. He was a veteran of the US Navy and enjoyed riding motorcycles, target shooting, golfing, bowling, the beach and sport fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Elaine Figueiredo of Melbourne; sisters, Carol Bolser of Olympia, WA and Patricia Williams of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Charles (Glenda) of Orange Park, FL and Paul of Melbourne; his best friend, Carrie Pfister of Titusville; and many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Macy. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Swanson and sister, Linda Howard.

Calling hours will be Monday May 26, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 PM with a celebration of his life on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Chapel.

John asked that everyone wear bright colors to celebrate his life.
