William (Bill) Adams

William Adams, 66, beloved husband and father passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 22, 2014. He was born August 19, 1947 in Camden, NJ. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and employed by Indyne, Inc. in the Water/Wastewater Dept.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William J. Adams and Vera Hughes; nephew, Steven Padgett; and in-laws Curtis and Jean King.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joyce; caring children, son, Michael; daughter, Heather; sisters, Eileen (Harold) Meister, Donna (Don) Baxter, Karen (Leon) Padgett; brother, John Hughes; and step-father, Harold Hughes; brother-in-law, Curtis (RJ) King; nieces, Dee Padgett, Stephannie King-Phenix; nephews, Adam and Joshua McCullough and their families. His unofficial children Adam, Amanda and granddaughter, Penelope, along with the entire Meister family.
His first love was his family but his life's passion was the Transport Workers Union. He represented his fellow workers of Local 525 serving as various union officials for more than 30 years.
