Robert (Bob) Dyer
Robert (Bob) Dyer died on May 29, 2014. Bob is survived by his wife Jan of 43 years; his son, Chris; his daughter-in-law, Shannon; and their children, Jeremy, Brianna, Kaley and Brandon, Bob's son, Brad; his grandson, Ryan; and Bob's son by his first marriage, Michael Dyer and his two children, Paul and Lauren.
Bob started working at the Kennedy Space Center in 1966 and retired in 2002. He loved working there and was proud of his many achievements working in Quality Control. His biggest honor was receiving The Manned Flight Awareness Award in 1993. He thought often of his many friends he made at Kennedy Space Center.
Bob loved many things. He loved harassing his grandchildren and their friends, Harley Davidson motorcycles, working on lawn mowers, flying, softball, pinochle, cooking, raccoons and dancing. But most of all, he loved his family.
There will be an Open House and Celebration of his life on Saturday, June 7th from 2-6p.m. at his home in Port St. John. Please feel free to drop by and share a memory of Bob with his family. Please call 639-8525 or 258-9054 for the address.
