Marilyn Verona Milana
Marilyn Verona Milana, 88, was called home on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in Tampa, Florida. Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Harry and Susan Abrams, she was a resident of the Melbourne area most years between 1971 and 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bennett Milana; two sons, Glenn Bennett and Lex William; her long-time companion, Norman Anna, and her brother-in-law and sister in-law, Al and Gloria Milana.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Helen Abrams; her daughters, Suzette Feinstein (husband Harris) and Marie Crenshaw (husband Wes); and six grandchildren, Alexa Dempsey (husband David), Rainna Cashwell (husband Lance), Shanna and Tessa Crenshaw, and Ben and Ari Feinstein. She also leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
Marilyn loved to cook and was known among her friends for her lively dinner parties. She also loved singing and traveled throughout the country and abroad with various choirs and singing groups. Marilyn instilled in her children the importance of loyalty and connection to family that will sustain her extended family for many years to come.
Funeral services will be held at Beach Funeral Home, 1689 S. Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, at 11:00 a.m. on June 7, 2014, followed by interment at Florida Memorial Gardens.
