West Melbourne, FL

Valerie Massimo, 83, of West Melbourne, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014 at her home.

She was a native of Connecticut, a Registered Nurse, and homemaker, moving here in 1958. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Club, and enjoyed painting water colors and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Francis; daughters, Ann (Everett) Booth, and Teri Massimo; sons, Francis, Jr, and Chris (Linda); son-in-law, Mike Ville, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Ville, a granddaughter, Amanda Massimo, and daughter-in-Law, Kathy Massimo.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday June 21st at 11 am in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with calling for one hour before the Mass in church.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes Building Fund.
