Indialantic, FL

Betty J. Coleman, 95, of Indialantic, FL went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 1, 2014. She was born September. 7, 1918 in Pine Island, MN to Vera and Garfield Joslyn. Betty was active in Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Garden Club by the Sea, Tempo Club, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Ladies of Nobility and Gardenettes.

Betty met the love of her life of 52 years, Pep Coleman, while visiting FL with her grandmother. They married several years later and when Pep went to War, Betty returned to MN. When the war was over Pep and Betty settled in Eau Gallie, FL and Pep opened Coleman's Pharmacy.

As a loving mother, Betty was always there for her children, Perry (Judi) Coleman; Suzanne Conway and Debbie (Jim) Mills. Betty loved each and every one of her nine grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Friday, July 11, from 5 -7 p.m. at Brownlie-Maxwell Chapel. Services will be at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic, on Saturday, July 12 at 11 a.m. Betty will be laid to rest at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, FL.

Donations may be made to Special Olympics of Brevard County, Eastminster Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Health First. Brownlie-Maxwell is serving the family.
