Larry Lee Bradford
Larry Lee Bradford, 80, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 after a sudden illness. Larry was born on November 9, 1933 in Wyconda, MO to Carroll and Hilma Bradford.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Danny, and his beloved wife, (and the mother of his children), Vicky. He is survived by his wife, Sue; his children, Karen (Joel) Benveniste, Dane (Melanie) Bradford, Stacey (Craig) Fisher; step-daughter, Stephanie (James) Sizemore and 'adopted' son, Robbie O'Connor; his grandchildren, Alexis Artherton, Aaron, Laura, and Daniel (Kimmy) Bradford, Jack Fisher and great-granddaughter, Victoria Galesi. Larry also leaves behind his loving and faithful dog, Chloe III.
Larry's career spanned 44 years with Douglas Aircraft, McDonnell-Douglas, and Boeing. He began as a machinist and eventually became Manager of Test and Assembly for Delta rockets. A man of great integrity, Larry was respected and liked by all who worked with him.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 10, at 2:00 pm at Rockledge Presbyterian Church, 921 Rockledge Dr, Rockledge, with a celebration of his life afterwards at Madd Jack's Grillin Shack, 6006 N. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
