Chester 'Chet' Gardocki

Indialantic, FL

Chester 'Chet' Myron Gardocki, 95, of Indialantic, FL, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Melbourne, FL. He was born on December 26, 1918 in Syracuse, NY and moved to Indialantic, FL from Pittsburgh, PA in 1976. Chet served in the US Army, and was part of the 1st Infantry Division in WWII. He fought in many battles including Normandy. After leaving the military Chet worked as a vice president for the Westinghouse Corporation for 15 years.

Chester was preceded in death by his spouse, Betty Gardocki in 2010, and his son, Chris, in 1996. He is survived by his son, Guy C. Gardocki, of Ft Lauderdale, FL.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach, FL with a Memorial Service to start at 2:00pm.
