Rockledge, FL

Winfield C. King, 90, of Rockledge, FL passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice House. Born in Buffalo, NY, Winfield came to Brevard County in 2004 from Hamburg, NY. He owned his own business as a wood refinisher and was a World War II Army veteran, having fought bravely in the Battle of the Bulge.

Winfield is survived by his wife, Ethel, of 68 years, and by his children, David, Marjorie (Bradley), Janet and William (Susan). Winfield is also survived by grandchildren, Sarah, Abigail, Thomas, Brendan, and Stephen.

A memorial service will be held at the Christian Church of Palm Bay Shores, Route 1, Palm Shores, Saturday, July 12 at 3 pm. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, NY. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations be made in memory of Winfield King to either Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice. 8060 Spyglass Hill Rd, Viera, FL 32940 or the Christian Church Palm Shores; 4580 N. US Hwy. 1, Palm Shores, FL.
