William H. Fricke, 80, of Palm Bay, passed away peacefully surrounded by his entire family on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Bill, a native of NY, spent 26 years serving our country in the U.S. Army and retired as the Senior Guidance Counselor for the State of CT in the recruiting Command. Upon his retirement, he and the family moved to FL and began his new career at Holmes Regional Medical Center where he retired as the Director of Safety and Security. Bill was a life member and twice Exalted Ruler of the Melbourne Elks Lodge, SECD Vice President and District Deputy twice. He was also a proud member of the Palm Bay Masons, the Azan Shriner Center in Melbourne, a life member of the American Legion Post #163 and the Loyal Order of the Moose #397.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marie; son, Bill (Adele); two daughters, Donna Ahles (Ken), and Linda Folio (Rich); and grandchildren, Kenny Ahles, Lauren and Samantha Folio. The family will receive friends Monday, August 18th, from 10 - 10:45 am at Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay, followed by a funeral service at 10:45 am.
