Harry Dennis Lusby

Melbourne Beach, FL

Harry Dennis Lusby (Denny), 72, passed away peacefully at Holmes Regional Medical Center surrounded by family on Friday, August 29, 2014 after a long battle with lymphoma. Denny was born December 31, 1941 in Washington DC and lived most of his life in Northern VA until he moved to Melbourne Beach, FL in 1999 after retiring from the U.S. Postal Service.

He was predeceased by his son, Harry Kenneth Lusby and brother, David Lusby. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Wilson Lusby, brother, Benjamin Lusby of NC, two daughters, Stacey Lusby Joyner and Amanda Lusby Helffrich, and two grandchildren, Allan Wilson Joyner and Brianna Hope Joyner.

Denny enjoyed cruising, fishing, bowling, and had a true passion for coaching young athletes. Denny spent well over a decade coaching little league baseball and girls softball. He was also an avid stamp collector from the time he was a small child and had his own stamp business after retirement.
